The Brentwood Arts Black History Month Film Series, Revising the Canon: Black Art Liberation, is a selection of films curated by independent curator and filmmaker Dawne Langford. It features both fiction and non-fiction films about Black artists, magnifying art as being instrumental to the process of liberation.
"In Motion" profiles the outspoken representative - formerly LeRoi Jones - of the Black consciousness movement who has been a major figure on the American literary and political landscape for three decades.
